Shop Love

If you haven’t already discovered the Regional Assembly of Text at 560 Johnson Street, you must.

Now is the time to create your beautiful summer wedding invitations, and this little shop is sure to inspire! Brainchild of Rebecca Dolen and Brandy Fedoruk, the store sells stationary to die for, journals, gift boxes, magnets and chalkboards, as well as my favorite: DIY button making for $2. My husband made me a secret button while we were shopping :)

In our quest to find out more about this lovely little addition to Lower Johnson, we were also pleased to discover Kaitlyn Patience of is a virtue. Check out her blog (so sweet!) & Etsy store (yes please!). We’ve posted a few of her pics of the store, and fell in love with her Etsy site while we were at it.

Happy Making!

Screen shot 2013-03-25 at 4.18.21 PMAt Blush we hear varied responses to the question of whether or not to wear a veil.  Some brides like to position one low in their hair, allowing it to flow easily behind their shoulders for a more relaxed look.  Others want to be swathed in a cathedral length style, which blends beautifully with a romantic lace & tulle skirt and guarantees stunning photos.  The classic tradition of wearing a blusher layer over your face comes from way back when, and there just may be nothing more feminine. And we can’t forget about the loveable vintage birdcage veil, which is usually the perfect final touch for a bride who loves all things retro.

Happy Easter!

And then there were 4!

For those of you who have visited Blush over the last 9 months, you may have noticed Emily’s growing bump. On March 21, little Molly was born at home and woke up the next morning to her adoring older sister Nora. Welcome Molly Mae Shepherd Moore!

And then there were three!

Style Me Pretty

“For the 2 million monthly followers of powerhouse wedding blog, the major mainstream hit with serious indie cred (think Domino meets Etsy meets Martha Stewart Weddings), and for all brides looking for fresh new inspiration, editor in chief Abby Larson offers an eagerly awaited, entirely unique, and gorgeously photo-rich wedding resource.

Joyful, love-filled weddings are created with the details that make the couple unique. These touches–letter-pressed table cards with a pet bulldog cameo; a chandelier to which the bride and groom tied hundreds of colorful ribbons; a photograph of the bride’s grandparents fastened around her bouquet–elevate a beautiful day into a deeply personal, unforgettable celebration.” -Kobo Website

Filled with photos, patterns & DIY projects, this book can be purchased online through Kobo or ask for it at your favorite book store! We have so many favorite book stores in Victoria…how to choose!?
