Knickers Lingerie Boutique

We couldn’t be more delighted, excited, and proud that our very own Blushie Jessica Peterman has just opened the doors of her loJo lingerie shop, Knickers.  All of us girls made it in for her grand opening on Friday night, and are or course all booked for a little luxury shopping before the month is out.  And can we just say…finally, right?  Victoria women have been in need of a beautiful underwear shop for a long, long time.  Actually men, too; now they have a fancy place to go do a little private shopping for their loving wives or girlfriends.  Open for business at 104-561 Johnson St.sugar & spice & all things nice

April Flowers

If you stop by Blush this week you’ll see the most perfect of perfect bundle of ivory flowers kindly provided by our amazing neighbours Rook & Rose – Victoria’s premier luxury floral boutique.  We love how designs by Rook & Rose seem to strike that fine balance between creative and elegant.  It was hard to narrow it down to just a few photos, so head on over to their website (http://rookandrose.com) and take a peek at some seriously beautiful floral design.  They even offer monthly classes so you can learn how to make your own arrangements fresh from your garden picks at home…inspired!

Congratulations Sarah

Recently, we had the pleasure of meeting Sarah Blackmore and helping her find her wedding gown. When we saw the beautiful photos from her wedding from Georgia Johnston Photography, we just had to share. We love the classic and timeless colour scheme with cute twists- like the popcorn maker! Sarah and Dan are also owners of one of Victoria’s best stops for gourmet burgers- Bin 4 burger lounge. It was a pleasure to have you as a Blush bride Sarah! Congratulations :)

Congratulations Sarah

Shop Love

If you haven’t already discovered the Regional Assembly of Text at 560 Johnson Street, you must.

Now is the time to create your beautiful summer wedding invitations, and this little shop is sure to inspire! Brainchild of Rebecca Dolen and Brandy Fedoruk, the store sells stationary to die for, journals, gift boxes, magnets and chalkboards, as well as my favorite: DIY button making for $2. My husband made me a secret button while we were shopping :)

In our quest to find out more about this lovely little addition to Lower Johnson, we were also pleased to discover Kaitlyn Patience of is a virtue. Check out her blog (so sweet!) & Etsy store (yes please!). We’ve posted a few of her pics of the store, and fell in love with her Etsy site while we were at it.

Happy Making!
