Q: “How far in advance should I order my wedding dress?”

A: Generally speaking, we recommend placing your orderat least 6 months prior to your wedding date. In order to aviod close timelines, we encourage this timeline as it allows 4-5 months for delivery plus time for alterations (ideally 6-8 weeks). We store your dress here as part of our service and it will be here waiting for you when you are ready to start your fittings, so it’s never to early to fall in love and make your dress officially yours!

If you don’t have 6 months left before your wedding, there are options to rush the dress from our designers for an additional fee. In addition, at Blush we keep a fantastic selection of dresses that don’t need to be ordered- they’re available off the rack, and we have our own in-house seamstress to make it fit like a dream!

A couple other things to consider…

Prices change, and collections change. If you’ve found a dress and you love it, you should be aware that the manufacturer can discontinue a style at any time (even new collections!) and prices are constantly changing to reflect increased manufacturing and shipping costs.

Q: “Do you do alterations on dresses that aren’t from Blush?”

A: Currently we are welcoming wedding gowns that are not from Blush.  Generally speaking, May-September is reserved for Blush dresses, but if we’re able to accept outside gowns, we will. Call to inquire- we’re happy to help out!

Q: “Do I need to make an appointment?”

A: While it is always best to book an appointment, we will most certainly do our best to accommodate everyone! We are entering into our busy season so if you’d like to ensure that you will be able to try on gowns and work with one of our consultants, please phone or email to book your session. We’re open 7 days a week & ready to help you find the dress of your dreams…

Q: ”I am torn between 2 dresses! I fell in love with a dress on the Maggie Sottero website but you don’t have it in the store. Can you get it for me? What is the process?”

A: Yes! We can get it for you, and would love to get it for you. A few things to know…

While we carry a fabulous selection of gowns, we can’t carry every dress. We choose a collection that represents the line, that we love and think you will love. When you are pining for a dress we don’t have, we can always get it for you as we have access to the entire line. We like to book you a try-on session to make sure you’ve done your research- put you in similar styles, show you fabrics & fit, and talk about the details of the gown you’ve fallen in love with. And when you’re ready, we will order the gown for you.

Still not sure? At Blush, we have a safety net in place. If you order a dress that we don’t have and you’re not 100% in love with it when it arrives, you’ll be able to choose another gown, no problem. It takes the stress out of the decision, and we’ll all about eliminating stress! We are so confident you will love your dress, we can offer this.

The process to order is the same- we’ll do your measurements and help you choose the color & any options, process your deposit. Then we’ll work with you when your gown arrives, and make sure it’s perfect.
